Campaign Revshare (Bid Optimization Rate)

Has been made in order to let you set the % not only on the Supply side, but on Demand as well. We subtract mentioned percentage on the campaign level from the price in RTB campaign response and pass it further to the publisher.

You can find this field in the RTB / Prebid Campaign Basic settings.

Example:
If you set a 30% Bid Optimization Rate, and the campaign returns a bid of $5, the system will calculate and forward the following price to the publisher:

  • $5 − 30% = $3.5

The value of $3.5 is recorded as Total Revenue in reporting.

Report

The price that includes campaign revshare (the original bid before subtraction) can be checked in the metric "Overall Advertiser Revenue" (Wizard > Financial / Common  sections)

In the example below, you can see a report with the following setup:

  • Source: 100% revenue share

  • Campaign: CPM of $10 with a 20% campaign revshare

 Note

Please keep in mind that Bid Optimization Rate and margin on the Supply side work in pair.

"Auto adjust" was made to automatically analyze discrepancy and adjust to the difference. This option is relevant only for entities that have external numbers fetched (via API) and used mostly for push/pop activity.
