Adding New Channel

You can create a channel for a single website like publisherwebsite.com, group several websites under the channel, or create a channel for your syndication partner (Ad Network, Ad Exchange, SSP, etc.).

To add a new publisher or additional channels for an existing publisher into the system, you need to click + New Channel (1).

Then add Channel name (2) along with a Channel description (3) if needed to allow a better definition of that channel (this field can be left blank as well). Client's revshare (4) defines a payout model, where publishers get a fixed percentage of their inventory revenue.

To apply the Global list for your Channel, use the following fields:

  • Global block list by App names (5) field to restrict the Ad Opportunities and Impressions coming from the applications with the names added to the Block list.
  • Global block list by Bundle IDs (6) field to restrict the Ad Opportunities and Impressions coming from the applications with the bundle IDs added to the Block list.
  • Global block list by Domains (7) field to restrict the Ad Opportunities and Impressions coming from the domains added to the Block list.
Note Client's revshare option only helps apply the same pricing model for all new sources of that particular channel (publisher) because your publisher uses the revshare pricing model. If another pricing model is selected for a particular source, the channel revshare is ignored.
When you are done with the setup on the page, don't forget to click on  button in the bottom right corner.

If further editing of the existing Channel is needed, you can click on the gearwheel (8), which will lead to the Channel Settings

This sector contains two more options (9):

  • Enabled checkbox is ticked by default that means the Channel is active. When this checkbox is unticked, the Channel consequently becomes disabled (grayed out in the Connection section).
  • Archive option disables the channel's entire activity and moves it to a separate "Archive" folder at the bottom of the left-side panel. Archived sources in the channel will be able to send the Ad Requests until the tags of those sources are active on the side of the tag holder (publisher).
