You can create a channel for a single website like publisherwebsite.com, group several websites under the channel, or create a channel for your syndication partner (Ad Network, Ad Exchange, SSP, etc.).
To add new publisher (channel), you need to click button in the left-side panel (1).
In Basic Settings add Channel name (2) along with a Channel description (3), if needed, to allow a better definition of that channel (this field can be left blank as well). Client's revshare (4) defines a payout model, where publishers get a fixed percentage of their inventory revenue. Note, that this % will be inherited by source entities, but can later be overridden.
To apply the Global list for your Channel, use the following fields:
- Global block list by App names (5) field to restrict the Ad Requests coming from the applications with the names added to the Block list.
- Global block list by Bundle IDs (6) field to restrict the Ad Requests coming from the applications with the bundle IDs added to the Block list.
- Global block list by Domains (7) field to restrict the Ad Requests coming from the domains added to the Block list.
- Global block list by SubIDs (8) field to restrict the Ad Requests coming from the SubIDs added to the Block list.
In the bottom of the page you can also find Schain object Behavior (9) settings. By this option you define the behavior of the schain object coming in the outgoing requests. The options are:
1. Append to schain object: we append Adtelligent to the calls from sources at the end of the supply chain mentioned in schain object. If there’s no schain object passed from the initial call, then we create it, indicating that it’s not complete.
2. Override schain object: we overwrite schain object placing publisher.id as initiator along with setting an indicator that the file is complete.
3. Pass schain object without changes: passing schain object without any changes made.
4. Do not pass schain object: we remove schain object from the request and don’t send it over further.
When you are done with the setup in this tab, don't forget to click on button in the bottom of the page's right corner.
If further editing of the existing Channel is needed, you can click on the channel name again and proceed to the Channel Settings.
In the settings, you are also able to deactivate your channel using Options settings:
- Enabled checkbox is ticked by default and means that the Channel is active. When this checkbox is unticked, the Channel consequently becomes disabled.
- Archive option disables the channel's entire activity and moves it to a separate "Archive" folder at the bottom of the left-side panel. Archived sources in the channel will be able to receive Ad Requests until the tags of those sources are paused on the side of the tag holder (publisher).
In the very end of the page you can find API URL along with API manual that can be used in order to fetch the channel's data via API. The documentation can be found under the button.
