Create a new Source (Basic Settings)

When creating a new Source, the first tab you will encounter is Basic settings. Below you can see the screenshot of it and the detailed description of each setting.

  • In the Basic settings enter the Source name (1) and Source description (2) if required.
  • Choose the type of integration (3): Tag-based or Open RTB
  • Choose Environment from the drop-down menu (4) (Desktop, Mobile Web, Mobile In-App, CTV)
  • Then select the needed Tag type (5) for your source (VPAID JS, VPAID FLASH, VPAID FLASH/JS, VAST, Display)
Note VPAID FLASH and VPAID FLASH/JS are available only for Desktop
  • Passback Connection  (6) checkbox allows the passback connection to receive ad calls from the source when it is ticked and vice versa when it is unticked. Please, keep in mind that Passback Connection is not available for Mobile Web.
  • Ticked Allow iframe (7) checkbox makes it possible for the tag to work correctly once it is set in the iframe. See more by following the link.

In the source pricing section (8), you can select a price model. There are three pricing models available: Share of revenue, Floor Price, and Fixed CPM. Please follow the link to find more information about each model.

VPAID Delivery settings (9) provide you with control over the VPAID unit. You can set latency timing, failovers, and more. Click here to get more information.

Once the setup process on the page is completed (along with source pricing and capping) click on the button at the bottom of the page. The VAST tag (10) will appear in the corresponding field after creating the source.

It is required to fill all the fields (except for Source Description) in order to move to the next step (Advanced Settings)
