Home > Supply Side Platform > Channels > Create a New Source (Advanced Settings)

Create a New Source (Advanced Settings)

In the Advanced Settings, you can set specific Source capping and adjust Targeting options for your Source.

Source capping

In the Source capping section, you can set up daily caps for the number of Impressions, Ad Opportunities and also limit the number of Ad Requests per second. Note that the ad request capping starts working in case the value is higher than 50.

Domains

Domain lists allow you to target specific domains or receive RON traffic (Run Of Network). To create a list of domains, go to Tools > Global Lists and click.

If the block list remains empty, you allow delivering Ad Opportunities and Impressions to all domains. By adding domains to the Block list, you restrict delivering Ad Opportunities and Impressions from domains specified in this list on the source level. By choosing White lists you allow delivery of Ad Opportunities and Impressions only from a certain pool of domains. Additional domains are an exception rule for domains on a global list. It allows you to include and exclude certain domains for a specific source.

Example We allow a particular source accepting the traffic from the list of domains 1, but restricted Ad Opportunities and Impressions coming, i.e., from msn.com because we excluded it from the list. Additional domains' option helps us avoid generating a new Domain list.

App Names/Bundle IDs Lists

App Names and Bundle IDs lists allow you to target the specific application or bundle ID. To create a list of app names/bundle IDs, go to Tools > Global Lists and click the button.

If the block list remains empty, you allow delivering Ad Opportunities and Impressions to all applications and bundle IDs. By adding app names/bundle IDs to the Block list, you restrict delivering Ad Opportunities and Impressions from app names/bundle IDs specified in this list on the source level. By choosing White lists you allow delivery of Ad Opportunities and Impressions only from a certain pool of app names/bundle IDs. Additional app names/bundle IDs is an exception rule for app names/bundle IDs in a global list. It allows you to include and exclude certain app names/bundle IDs for a specific source.

Example We allow a particular source accepting traffic from the list of app names 1, but restricted Ad Opportunities and Impressions coming, i.e., from Angry Birds, because we excluded it from the list. Additional App Names' option helps us avoid generating a new App Names list.

Countries and Player Sizes

Country targeting allows you to target your publishers'/supply partners' sources and apply them to audiences in specific geographical locations.

In the targeting by player sizes section, you can set different player sizes. To do that, choose the player's parameters (width from/to and height from/to) and then click on Add new player size button. You can find more details by following the link.
